Andrew Mockler

Andrew has a degree in Jazz, Popular and Commercial music from Newcastle University, UK. His performance experience is exceptional, including several performances with internationally renowned musician Sting and his band.

Andrew Mockler is a 25 year old solo musician with over 14 years experience performing in the music industry in Europe and Oceania. He performs acoustic guitar and vocals.

Providing a high quality and professional music service to suit any event or establishment, His musical specialities are in Jazz, Popular and Classical music, however, he is an ameable musician and can tailor a new and appropiate set list to every event.

So Andy, how did you come to meet sting?

“Basically I was at uni, and he used to play in a band with one of my
lecturers. He happened to be ill the day he was supposed to be singing for
our university. So he asked if anyone knew the words to his songs. I put my
hand up and he really liked what I did. He called me later that day and said
would you mind singing in my place at this VIP dinner. Of course I said yes,
who wouldn’t!? So I sang lead for his band while he played bass. Pretty
awesome feeling. After that I have met up with him whenever he is back in
the UK and if he is doing a gig of some sorts he gets me up on backing
vocals. It’s awesome!”
