B-SIDE BAND is a 3 piece unit who play their brand of roots music: rockabilly plus rhythm & blues, with a touch of country and jazz swing. Their repertoire comes from the 20th century through to the present. They play originals too. A 3 hour show.

The B side band played for us on the top deck of the Karapiro Cruiser during a Blues,Brews and BBQ cruise on a snday afternoon in Feb.The guys did an outstanding job of entertaining the customers and creating a great atmosphere,Just loved the music they played(especially the Harmonica).

The members are:
Paul Parkhouse:vocals/harmonica/saxophone.
Simon Elton:vocals/guitar.
Carl Winter:rockabilly drum kit.
Paul led the "Waterfront Blues Band" in Ch-ch

Hi Karl, The band was fantastic, perfect music to dance to on a hot sunday afternoon, easy listening music for all ages, from young kids to grandparents. I loved their easy going attitude when we were running late (as these things so often do). They were professional and all ready set up before guests arrived. They were the perfect band for our wedding and local boys too. Please foward on my feedback and a big thanks to the band from my husband and I. Kind regards Emma

These guys play all the old songs, that we haven't heard for years. Love their sounds.
