Chris and Deane played at our wedding on 10/04/10 (120 ppl) and were absolutely brilliant - they had the dance floor packed right from the start. They also went above and beyond by learning our first dance song, and sending us their version of it on a CD (we were in London) so that we could have our dance lessons to the version we would be dancing to on the night. They were extremely professional, playing not only great dance music, but also letting us use their system for the background music during dinner, and their microphones for the speeches. I would 100% recommend them to anyone planning a wedding. Thanks very much guys.

Chris is the band-back-bone. He’s an accomplished musician and has been playing in bands around Auckland since the early 1980’s.
Chris’s vision is to provide fun, affordable, professional evening live music for parties, weddings and corporate functions.
Deane began singing support at corporate gigs in 1999 for the covers band “DC Candy”, before joining “drive-thru” mid 2006.
Both Chris and Deane are both really busy in professional careers so they select live performances carefully and manage the number of gigs they do each year, which ensures they maintain the highest quality possible,and keeps the energy high. “We absolutely love playing live”

After hearing 'Drive Thru' on line, I took what I found back to my executive board and we all voted unanimously for the Band 'Drive Thru' to play at our prestigious Registered Master Builders House of the Year Gala Function in Whakatane.
Deane and Chris where more than accommodating and fitted right into our routine. Nothing was a problem, best of all we had great comments from our major sponsors, they really enjoyed the music. In fact even our grumpy caterer enjoyed the band (now that's saying something)
As an event coordinator I have no hesitation in recommending that you use 'Drive Thru' for your next function, formal or non formal, they know how to work a crowd and have an extensive play list to bogey down too.

"Chris and Deane played at our 07-08 New Year’s Eve party on Waiheke Island and they really got the party going! Their music selection was fantastic, their backing tracks were of the highest quality, and the overall sound was brilliant as they morphed their voices to become the lead singer all the songs they covered. They transformed our party into something very memorable and none of our guests wanted to leave! I would gladly ask them to play again at any of our functions in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to ensure a great night."

Chris and Deane played at our wedding in Feb 08 and were absolutely excellent! They rocked the room and got everyone up dancing. Loads of our guests said how good they were and what great voices they had. In the run up to the wedding, they were very professional in their planning and flexible in their approch, and on the night, were very happy to work around us when the speeches over-ran. They were just brilliant and I can’t recommend them highly enough! Thanks for everything guys, you made our evening really special.

A great night was had by all at a party with drive-thru playing. All the music they played everyone knew. They got everyone up on the dance floor, even those who don’t usually dance! They new how to entertain the crowd, and had a truly professional approach.
I would thoroughly recommend them for anyone planning a party soon.

Thanks for doing an awesome job playing at our wedding in Dec 07.
I fully recommend this band if you are looking for a talented 2 man band (easy on the budget) with great sounds. We had 100 guests, the band defintely gave the room plenty of atmosphere and played some cool songs. It was a great, successful nite !
