Elevator Phase is a jazz/lounge duo based in the South Island of New Zealand. Playing a fusion of atmospheric instrumental lounge, jazz & latin styles, Elevator Phase are the perfect soundtrack for your event, party, art exhibition or any occasion.
Elevator Phase is the culmination of Australian Saxophonist/Producer - Micah Templeton-Wolfe and New Zealand based Guitarist/Bassist - Peter Mcbride.
The two combined have a wealth of musicial experience, crossing many years and many styles..from studio based work to performing with countless live acts, to electronica performance and film/media composition projects.
Elevator Phase was formed in 2009 bringing together a heavily jazz influenced sound, with touches of ambient electronica, downtempo, chillout and nu-jazz music.
Currently residing in the South Island of New Zealand, the duo have just released their debut EP, a collection of tracks fusing nu-jazz, chillout, electronica and lounge sounds.
