Thank you so much for playing at the Bethlehem College Ball. The combination of the band and DJ worked really well for this occasion, providing continual great music that suited everyones taste. Five Oclock Shadow were so professional and easy to work with plus are such great musicians! Their set list has a good balance between new stuff and good classics, and along with their energetic stage presence they created a brilliant night. Thanks once again!

thank you so much for the amazing performance that you did for our wedding. It was the icing on the cake to an awesome day, you guys made it perfect! Thank you for playing earlier for the guests, it really set the mood for the rest of the night and we have had many compliments on the cocktail guitar set that you played through dinner. You read the mood and timing perfectly and made your music suit.
The quality of sound that you produce is top level. The vocals of your band were really amazing, especially when you were belting out some trickier songs!The playlist that you chose was perfect. You read the audience so well and you had people dancing from the age of 18 months through to 65! You played music that suited everybody and I can't remember one person who didn't get up for a dance. The band interacted so well with the audience and made it a lot of fun!

You worked hard, and certainly made the day less stressful for me with your assurances, and the performance was absolutely outstanding. And I literally mean that was the best wedding performance I've seen, including your playlist on the night.

Everyone had a great time and the girls loved your music. I have only had good comments from everyone. Also for us oldies the volume was not too loud, so well done on that as well. I will send a reference later on.

Without a lie one of the most nerve wrecking things about my wedding day was choosing the music!
I knew Eugene through his previous band and every time we had been to a function we they were playing everyone in the room was up and dancing, so we put our trust in Eugene and left the playlist to his discretion .
I couldn’t have hoped for better!
The music Five O’clock Shadow played was so well suited to our 160 guests and much to my delight there weren’t many sitting down.
We had so many calls asking who the band was, I felt compelled to write a reference.
The band was so professional and easy to deal with and if you choose
Them to play for you I assure you, you will feel the same way!

Five O'Clock Shadow played at the Sacred Heart Graduation Ball and they were amazing!! I was constantly having people coming up to me throughout the course of the night saying what an awesome band they were and how much they were enjoying the music. Their versatility was obvious as they had the teachers dancing just as much as the students!
A great band, really nice guys would definetly recommend them to anyone.

Five O'clock Shadow played at the first Chatham Islands Wild Food & Music Festival this year. They were such a hit the people want them back for more. This band was fantastic entertainment for the chatham island community and really added value to the festival. The band shared their musical talents by providing music sessions for children & adults and gave huge support and inspiration to the local island band 'Off the Cuff'. We are excited to have Five O'Clock Shadow return to the Chathams to perform at our next Festival on 6th March 2010. What a great band!! We reccommend you book them for any occassion as they will provide the best entertainment for your celebration. Thanks Guys, from all the people on the Chatham Islands. We had the Best time ever.

Just wanted to drop a note to pass on sincere thanks to yourself and the band for the wonderful performance for NYE 2008. New Years Eve Mt Maunganui is one of the largest events in New Zealand and the entertainment is a crucial part in ensuring the success of the night. Five O’Clock Shadows line up of songs ensured all ranges of ages were entertained and a great and safe night was had by all.
As the event is a huge logistical management exercise, I rely heavily on professional bands that work within the logistics. Many thanks to your band, as the professional showmanship you all presented ensured that the Beach Stage was run smoothly, and within the parameters of the night.
I do hope you all enjoyed the night – feedback has been that the line up was perfect. We were especially impressed when you were able to work the start of your introduction in with the previous singer/beat boxer. You willingness to work with the many other bands and your flexibility with the time

A huge range of material, mainly good time party hits that everyone young and old seem to know.Goal is to pack the dance floor and keep it that way! Recent hit songs like Jason Mraz "I'm Yours" "Hey Soul Sister" Train and "Sex on Fire" by the Kings of Leon, blend in with classics by the likes of "Why Does Love do this to me", "500 miles" and other big sounding anthems.
The good times will roll with CCR, Eagles, Beatles, Doobie Bros and much more. Definitely something for everyone and the repetoire is constantly growing. Special requests can usually be catered for given enough time (1st dances for weddings etc)
