Late80smercedes swing, funk dance band of the century! If you haven’t already seen these guys you better! You won’t know what hit you! When your knees start knockin’, your feet start movin’ and the funk takes control!

I have seen these guys at Parachute music festival and a few other places around, and they are a very high energy, highly skilled act. Everytime I have heard them, my feet start tapping and the corners of my mouth want to rise. I am from a covers band in the south Island called Smashbox, and as a musician, I can tell you this band is highly polished and professional. Definately worth seeing.

Late80smercedes was formed in 2000 after a few additions to the solid state trio (a cafe-jazz band featuring James Hannah, Jayden Keoghan, Sam Trenwith and Brian Goodhall). James started arranging pop songs into swing and the rest mixed in the funk… then badda bing badda boom! Late80smercedes was born! Four years later Late80s are still belting out the goodness for everyone!…. Get down!

Performances for TVNZ, Vodafone, Flightcentre NZ national Ball, NZ advertising awards, Various public events like Wellington fireworks (25,000 people), Christmas in the Parks (Various Cities.. from 10,000-20,000 people)

This band is Awesome! If your budget under $4k, you will need to find another band :)
