Q4 are now available for 3 types of function.
“Party Time”(our usual performance) “Acoustic Only” Or why not try..our “Best Of Both World’s” and get a cool Acoustic earlier set followed by a later “Party time set”
Our acoustic material is varied and ranges from our usual rock, pop, top 40, reggae. And we have now added jazz, blues, Irish and soul. In other words practically every genre is covered. With 3 vocalists, acoustic guitars, mandolin, acoustic bass and various percussion the sound is full, rich, and harmonious enough to grab your ya ya's like our usual performances. A must for the more laid back functions, Thursday nights, Sunday afternoons or anytime you want just the right background music for your venue or function.
We can play 3 to 4 hours acoustically or provide you with a short set prior to any activities that may follow and later bring on our Party time set for you to dance away well into the small hours. Why not contact us for that special touch to your next function.

Q4 are all highly experienced musicians. Q4 were established in late 2006. Q4 have been working regularly in Auckland and surrounding cities, since, playing their popular versions of rock, reggae and pop/top 40 covers to a wide and varied audience which makes them suitable for any type of function from bars, clubs, weddings to corporate and special events. 2009/2010 has brought a fresh, new approach to the band. Now Q4....MK11 has arrived...A new sound...A new vibe..More vocal styles.

Q4 have streamlined their line up and concentrated on using their strong vocal advantage. Now with 3 members all contributing to Lead and Backing vocals they have maintained their already full and rich sound further, and added newer vocal styles with exceptional 3 part harmonies to their already solid, sound arsenal. Q4’s newest member Craig brings with him strong lead/backing vocals, vast experience in the music industry and some awesome guitar licks to boot. Craig owns a recording studio in St Heliers and is already a very accomplished engineer, producer, multi instrumentalist. Chris and Ben are also expert in their own fields and combined total many years in the music industry. Q4 have expanded their repertoire further to include acoustic songs for those cruiser functions, new songs have been added and will be updated frequently, and a brand new 1000watt “Wharfedale” sound system has also been added along with more lighting to further enhance and create the right moods for dancing.... after all...Q4 are a dance band. Q4 are also able to provide extra sound or lighting for those larger venues, and always come armed with break music on ipod to play in-between their sets to suit your needs.
