The Lazyboyz are fully professional, and one of the top covers bands in New Zealand, we are a high energy party band with 2 powerful male lead vocalists and guitarists, made up of members from highly successful bands from the 80's and 90's.

The Lazyboyz comprise some of New Zealand's Top Musicians, and are

Dean Heazlewood ; Lead Guitar, Lead Vocals, Harmonica. Mandolin
Dean was guitarist with one of NZ'S Top bands of the 1980's, The Mockers. Dean is also an accomplished solo artist, and has recorded and played with some of this countries Top artists and played extensively here and overseas.


Tony Baird ;Bass, Acoustic guitar and Vocals
Tony has been playing professionally for the last 27 years, and is widely recognized as one of Auckland's top rock Bass players, he has backed top artists such as Tom Sharplin as a member of the Cadillacs for a number of years,he has also played with The Anzacs, Mark Heke and The Ponsonby Express, The Boogiemen, and numerous other top artists both here and overseas.

Steve Tree; Drums, Vocals, Congas and percussion
Steve has been involved in Top Auckland Covers bands since the Mid 80's, including Go Figure and The Powerpoles amongst others,and has played extensively throughout the country,he has also played with Top artists such as Dave McCartney and The Pink Flamingoes, and played at the Xmas in The Park festivals over the last couple of years.

Ivan Glucina ; Lead Vocals,Lead Guitar, Banjo
Ivan has also been involved in top covers bands including Go Figure over the last 18 years, he has played extensively throughout NZ and in Australia, and is one of Auckland's most respected guitarists and vocalists

Hello Steve, First of all, thanks for the support that your band has provided the Vodafone Warriors with in 2007. We do operate on a really small budget and we appreciate what you have given the club this year! you received great feedback, and we would love to have your band back at Mount Smart if we do secure a home final!
