Whitewash is an Auckland covers band playing pop and rock songs from the last 40 years. They are available for weddings, corporate functions, bars, restaurants, parties and community events.

A big thank you from us here at The New Zealand Refining Company Limited. All our staff enjoyed your music. We look forward to using you again sometime in the future.

Whitewash has a wide repertoire catering to a variety of age groups. Playing both older hits from bands like Doobie Brothers and Lynyrd Skynyrd, and more recent tracks from Sublime and Kings of Leon (and everything in between), they can create a sound and atmosphere suited to any occasion.

Whitewash is primarily an acoustic trio with Mark Tronson as a frontman, Zahn Trotter on guitar and Ryan Carroll on drums and percussion. While Whitewash most often performs as a trio, they are available in any configuration from a solo performer right through to a full six piece band for major functions.

Weddings are Whitewash’s specialty. They have kept crowds entertained at weddings all over the North Island, from the Bay of Islands to South Taranaki. They can provide acoustic afternoon entertainment as a duo or trio, or a loud and energetic performance with 4 or more band members to keep people dancing all night.

Whitewash played at our wedding two weeks ago and they rocked! They played songs the crowd loved and at the end of the night we heard chants of "One More Song!". They have an extensive playlist and also learnt our first dance song and did a fantastic job of it! They are professional to deal with and were really flexible with all our requests. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good covers band! Thank you Whitewash!

FIVE STARS - We booked Whitewash for our beach/garden wedding in Waitakere after hearing them play in Matakana.  They have a fantastic repertoire and played an amazing set tailored just to us - they even learned a special song for our first dance.  We had so many people telling us how impressed they were with the band, even the people who 'don't dance' couldn't help but get up and jump around.  The guys literally played until their fingers bled!  When the night ended everyone called for an encore and I'm still getting requests for their contact details.  Friendly, professional, and totally the coolest covers band.  We had so much fun, thank you for topping off an amazing day.  Wish we could fly you back to the UK for wedding part two!

I just wanted to thank the band for a great evening on Saturday. You exceeded my expectations, with the high quality of your music, versatility & range plus overall willingness to listen to what we were looking for the party.  Everyone agreed that you were fantastic and the ideal band to set the background mood for a great night.  I would have you back again for any event I organise.  Thank you and I wish you all the best success in future.
